How to Eliminate Your Fear of Public Speaking

Why is it that the number one fear of most people is public speaking? And, that people fear it more than the fear of death? Well, for one thing, we are all going to die at some point. But, we don’t have to do public speaking!! But, that’s not why.

If you’re afraid or even nervous about public speaking, you might not like the thought of putting yourself out there to be judged and assessed. You may worry about looking bad or foolish or failing in front of others. Whatever reason you may have about being nervous, about speaking, the cause of it may be different from someone else’s reasons. So, it’s not really the reason that causes the fear, because one reason for one person may not be the same reason for another. Reasons really don’t cause fear.

“Your fear or nervousness is actually caused by YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT your reasons.

Your thoughts are actually causing your fear or nervousness. That’s good news.”
